“Got the Amore Sailing package and what an amazing experience, all the way from the planning with Carol since it was my engagement, to the execution with Clarke our captain. Carol was great with communication, helped me plan everything and gave me a lot of options to make this moment as special as it could be. Clarke made this experience memorable, he's such a great person, super fun to be with, and he knows how to sail so we felt very safe. Thank you for making this once-in-a-lifetime moment so special.”

Loved on Lake Travis
Moments our guests will never forget.
“Had the most wonderful experience on our honeymoon. Captain Clark is the best! He knows the lake and had so much knowledge of the area. Great boat, in fact great everything about it. My wife and I highly recommend Texas Sailing for anyone looking for a romantic sunset on Lake Travis.”
“If you want a special sail on the water, book with Texas Sailing! Amazing service over the phone which made my birthday booking easy. On the day of the event she made sure I was set for success! Loved our captain's hospitality and they are also AMAZING photographers. 10/10 would recommend for any special celebrations.”

Good to know
Common questions
What kinds of occasions do you host?+
Anything worth marking on the water. Proposals, anniversaries, vow renewals, milestone birthdays, family reunions, and welcome-home sails are the most common. Tell us what you're celebrating and we'll build the sail around it.
I want to propose. How do you keep it a surprise?+
Discreetly, and with practice, we host dozens of proposals a year. We'll coordinate with you ahead of time on timing, hidden flowers or champagne, and a signal for when to start. Your captain keeps the sail feeling completely normal to your partner until you give the word. If you want a photographer aboard a chase boat to capture the moment, we can arrange that too.
How far in advance should we book a special occasion sail?+
Weekend slots between April and September typically book 2–4 weeks out, especially if you want decor, champagne, or a photographer coordinated. If your date is sooner, call us, we can often still make it work.
Can you help with a vow renewal?+
Yes, vow renewals on the water are one of our favorite things to host. We can help stage the boat with flowers or simple decor and time the ceremony to land during golden hour. Let us know your guest count and vision and we'll handle the logistics.
What happens if the weather is bad?+
Safety wins, every time. If your captain cancels for weather, lightning, or unsafe wind, you reschedule for free, no fine print, no rebooking fees. Light rain or overcast skies usually don't cancel a sail; some of the most dramatic Lake Travis sunsets happen on partly cloudy evenings. Your safety and your experience always come first.
